National Honor Society
The
National Honor Society at Shaw High School follows the national guidelines in
promoting scholarship, character, service and leadership. Eligible juniors and
seniors are initiated in February or March of each school year.
Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at 7:15 a.m.
Members are required to be present at six of the eight annual meetings plus the
practice for initiation and the actual initiation ceremony. Additionally,
members are asked to fulfill community service hours and participate in club
service projects.
